Hidden Lodge Queenstown is your home away from home. A place where you can experience total relaxation and enjoy complete serenity. Situated on the edge of lake Wakatipu, just minutes away from the heart of Queenstown we invite you to be amazed by our breath taking views of the Remarkables Mountains, Cecil Peak and Walter peak. Its peaceful, natural surroundings convey remoteness and in seemingly total isolation.
Enjoy our complimentary home cooked breakfast, starting with seasonal fresh fruits and delicious home baked goods. Followed by your choice of eggs from our onsite farmyard and pork raised from Murray and Jessica’s home farm on the Canterbury plains. All lovingly prepared by your hosts for you onsite.

As our guest you’ll be welcomed by Lodge General Manager, Claudia Bartsch. Claudia is passionate about making your stay as comfortable and memorable as possible. From restaurant recommendations to scenic sightseeing suggestions, Claudia has all the details at her fingertips to help you enjoy your stay at Hidden Lodge, in Queenstown and the surrounding area.
Claudia has extensive management experiences in five and six star accommodation properties in Queenstown, Fiji and Germany. Claudia is originally from Germany where she gained a certificate of expert in hotel business from the Ritterplan School of Hotel Management in Goettingen. Claudia is eloquent in both English and German.
As well as providing professional yet relaxed service at Hidden Lodge, Claudia also manages to find a little time to look after the beautiful horse Lad and her dogs Primo & Pryde. Our very own rescue hens are flourishing under Claudia’s care, providing fresh eggs for breakfasts.
