The Linden Suite has a fresh, contemporary feel with the open-plan bedroom and lounge opening out to an expansive veranda and garden area. An outdoor setting provides a relaxing vantage point to take in the alpine views.

This suite features a super-king or twin beds and an ensuite bathroom with shower. All rooms provide Linden Leaves toiletries, heated tiled floors, hairdryers, bath robes and slippers, cotton bed linen, fresh flowers, writing desks and telephones.

In addition to the guestroom features, this suite provides a private lounge area, tea and coffee making facilities, a fridge stocked with light refreshments, multi-channel digital TV and CD and DVD players.

Black Peak Suite is Lime Tree Lodge’s premium luxury suite. Its black-oak decor, leather furnishings, private lounge with log fire and garden terrace with sweeping 180 degree views towards the Southern Alps make this the perfect retreat for a well-deserved winter or summer break. Pull back the French doors and enjoy a delicious, local wine while watching the sun set over Black Peak and the Southern Alps.

Black Peak Suite features a spacious master bedroom with a super-king or twin beds, an ensuite bathroom with bath and shower, a separate bunk bedroom suitable for up to two children (aged 12 years or under), a private open-plan lounge with a warming log fire, kitchenette and dining area, multi-channel digital TV and CD and DVD players.

The Lodge’s four guestrooms are named after the superb range of rivers which flow through the World Heritage Wanaka region – Hawea, New Zealand’s shortest river – Mata-Au, the Maori name for the mighty Clutha, New Zealand’s largest volume river – the Makarora, known for its plentiful rainbow trout – and the ancient glacial-fed Matukituki river.

Each luxurious ensuite room has French doors leading to the Lodge grounds and veranda, and is equipped with its own garden furniture for that leisurely afternoon tea, complete with home-baking, or a glass of fine Central Otago wine as the sun sets behind the Southern Alps.

All guestrooms provide an ensuite with shower, Linden Leaves toiletries, heated tiled floors, hair-dryers, bath robes and slippers, cotton bed linen, fresh flowers, writing desks and telephones.

The Hawea and Mata-Au guestrooms feature king-sized beds and the Makarora and Matukituki guestrooms, super-king beds.  All beds can be converted to twin beds, if required.

Guests also have exclusive use of the stylish lounge and dining area, with its impressive open log schist fireplace.  Complimentary digital TV, CD, DVD and book libraries, tea and coffee, fresh fruit, home-baking and sparkling mineral water are all on hand for guests to enjoy throughout their stay.

Lime Tree Lodge is a warm and welcoming country retreat, enriched by our high-country farming heritage and extensive farming networks, many of which provide exclusive access – by foot, horse, 4WD or helicopter – to nearby high country stations, not otherwise open to the public.

Lime Tree Lodge is the ideal venue for intimate weddings and special occasions with its magnificent garden setting,panoramic mountain views and expansive grounds,complete with on site heli-pad. available for exclusive use for weddings where often the bride and groom will fly out from heli-pad up to the mountain for photographs then back to Lime Tree Lodge. Bride and Groom able to stay in executive suite. Extended  family in other guest rooms so they are all able  to join in the day after the wedding  festivities  at the lodge.  Everyone can relax around the pool and gardens without having to find another venue to host all the guests for the day after the wedding. Lime Tree Lodge is also  popular for hell-ski parties of two families or more  wanting to use the lodge and fly out from our own private hell-pad, baby showers or families wanting special family time.

Guests of the Lodge are spoilt for choice when it comes to relaxation. A five hole pitch-and-putt golf course, croquet lawn, petanque court, swimming pool and spa pool provide plenty of on-site activity, while the Lodge’s helipad provides direct access to the region’s spectacular ski fields, glaciers and sounds. Walk out of the Lodge and be whisked away on an awe-inspiring flight to Mt Aspiring National Park, Milford Sound or Mt Cook – or go heli-skiing ‘off-piste’ for the adventure of a lifetime.

A wide range of attractions and adventure sports are all within easy reach of Wanaka. Take a scenic cruise on the Lake, sample locally made wines, or fish at one of the easily accessible lakeside spots. Alternatively, venture into the hills and mountains surrounding Wanaka. Mountain biking, hiking and climbing are all available in this area. Wanaka is also one of New Zealand’s top ski destinations, with three ski and snowboarding areas nearby.
