Sue Allen, Rimu LodgeYour Host.. Sue Ellen

After I left school I trained as a nurse.. my first love ..  and specialised in Paediatrics.  Following nursing I was a media consultant for TV3, and this in turn led to a Consultancy advising companies on cost effective marketing.

For the past 10 years I ran a nation wide customer service company, sending mystery shoppers to evaluate levels of customer service and then following up with recommendations to the companies management on ways to improve the customers experience.

Seeking a change I sold my Auckland home, purchased a motor home and then toured the South Island looking for a perfect location to live and love, and where I could either build or find an existing B&B or lodge. I fell in love with the rugged natural beauty of the West Coast and as soon as I saw Rimu lodge I knew it was the perfect location and size with its fabulous Great Room and breath taking views.
