Nisbet Cottage
Nisbet Cottage offers luxury accommodation in two spacious suites with king bed, TV, safe, and broadband internet access. A large sundeck, accessible from the private guest lounge has been added offering panoramic views of the city and the hills beyond. The garden has undergone extensive re-planting and now attracts an increasing number of native birds.
Owned and operated by Nature Guides Otago Ltd., the lodge caters exclusively for guests who participate in the company's expert guided eco-tours for groups of max 6 people. The Sunrise Penguin Walk provides an opportunity to observe rare Yellow-eyed Penguins in their natural habitat. Native forest, tidal inlet birdlife, and Royal Albatross are the focus on the Peninsula Excursion & Albatross Encounter where we also provide an opportunity for active participation in a re-forestation project. All our tours require a reasonable level of fitness.
Two nights B&B and the tours are offered as package for guests staying at Nisbet Cottage. Additional nights B&B are possible. We will be happy to recommend and book further activities.
