Rippinvale Retreat
In realaxed and comfortable atmosphere guests enjoy 5 star boutique accommodation in Rippinvale's two stylish apartment suites. A highlight of your stay will be our fabulous breakfast feasts ! Much of the food served at Rippinvale is grown in the gardens or sourced locally. We use only the freshest seasonal New Zealand produce which is simply prepared and beautifully presented. Breakfast is served in the privacy of your suite, or alfresco during summer, at a time to suit you. Our condiments and preserves are made with love and care, the old fashioned way, from sun ripened fruit and vegetables grown in the gardens at Rippinvale. With prior notice we can prepare a delicious picnic hamper for you, or during summer, experience a romantic Victorian afternoon tea.
Our wines are from New Zealand's famous Marlborough and Waipara regions and are served in the evening with canapes.
The park like gardens at Rippinvale Retreat feature an outdoor alpine jacuzzi, traditional grass tennis court, petanque pit, expansive lawns and mature trees which create shady corners where you can tuck yourself away with a book.
For guests wanting to experience a slice of real New Zealand wilderness, we are able to organise fishing, hunting, 4wd drive, walking treks and camera safaris which are are very popular. An in house massage therapist is also available to ease tired muscles, you can expect a unique treatment experience designed especially for you.
In 2008 Rippinvale Retreat received New Zealand Tourism's prestigious Qualmark enviro gold award for exceptional performance in responsible tourism operations. Sustainable environmental practice is a corner stone philosophy at Rippinvale from the food we serve, the eco systems we create within the garden, to the products we source for our business. In this way we can help support our environment
